Q: QuestionWhat accessories/extender go with my Netgear R6250? Having connection issues on other end of house, basement and CCTV set up.
Asked by Mark.
- A:Answer It connects to your wireless network and retransmits the signal to extend the range. It is compatible with most any wireless router or access point. That being said, this MAY be over kill. This unit supports the AC protocol - with can be faster than the "n" protocol. I don't know if the r6250 does.

Q: QuestionNETGEAR - Nighthawk X4 AC2200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender makes extra network names of 2EXT and 5GExt, ending up with 4 network SSID's if you started with 2. Can you rename the new ones to the same names as original?
Asked by PBzzz.
- A:Answer Yes, you enter the passwords for the EX7300 to connect to the main router you wish to extend and there is a second page where you tick the box to use ONE wifi name for the entire setup. Then you may move throughout your home on the same SSID seamlessly.
