How does this compare to Linksys' EA8500? null

Dear Anonymous; I'll be honest with you: Linksys has never impressed me. As a computer technician with 20+ years experience, I have always believed in Netgear. The setup is easier; the product works better; and the warranty is stronger. Linksys doesn't give a strong enough signal, in my opinion. Go for Netgear products. They are where technology is at. Best of luck.

I started with the Linksys and after a couple of weeks of troubleshooting performance issues, gave up and returned it. The Nighthawk (right out of the box) spanked the Linksys on performance and support for gaming consoles.
