That's where the satellites help. My house has a lot of corners and with just the router (on one end of the house like yours), I couldn't get the signal everywhere with just one satellite. I now have one satellite near my entertainment system, one centrally located in the dining room, and one on the patio. See attached ORBI map to see how they connect. Satellite 3 is on the patio.

Using only a parent and one child unit, I have exterior WiFi enabled devices mounted on brick or 8 -10 feet away beyond the brick 1 with RSSI ranging from 52 - 67. A WiFi enabled garage device approximately 35 ft from interior units has RSSI of 41. No extenders in use. No issues in my use case.
