Great system
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Orbi system for the primarily the extended range. I did extensive research and I wanted to be in the sub $500 price point. I went to my local best buy and just happened to talk to a person who had pretty good knowledge and she personally had the EERO system. But after going home and researching a bit, the orbi was just more features for the price. This Orbi system ended up being near the top of that price point but the features were well worth the extra cost versus the Eero, Linksys, and TPLink. All of which I'm sure would of been just fine, but I've ran multiple speed tests and for the most part it doubled my speeds from everywhere in the house. I haven't been outside yet, due to weather, but I expect it to perform the same way. The main features I really liked about this was the tri band, the square footage range, the wifi 6 tech and the ease of set up. It was very easy to set up, but you do have to download the Netgear Orbi app but it actually makes it super easy. I did have to call Netgear for a question regarding my Verizon Fios modem/router and the connection and they were great and even called me back an hour later to make sure everything was working right and I was happy, so super impressed with them! All in all, the ease of set up, features and price point were a no brainer for me. FYI, this goes on sale for @$450, so wait for the sale.

Great Mesh router.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mesh router really resolved my connectivity issues at my home. I was using the nighthawk router for last 4 or 5 years never really had major issues until recently after upgrading my internet service. It was constantly dropping and rebooting with the more devices connected to it. It couldn’t keep up. I was not getting the speed what I was supposed to from my service provider. That’s why I started doing some research on the mesh router to solve the range and speed issues. After comparing to the other router on the market I came up with the conclusion to buy this and I don’t regret it. It’s working great and great value. Having an IT background I have done some testing. It’s working great. Setup was super easy – Just connect to the power outlet, download the app, and follow the setup up process.

Orbi is the best wifi router/extender.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed coverage for at least 5000 sq ft. My AT&T extenders were not stong enough so I opted for the Orbi. I had immediate coverage with speeds in the 200+Gb at the farthest location on a 1st floor location. (Router located on 2nd floor in extreme opposite end of home). I've used orbi in the past with one satellite, but the 2 satellites really get the job done.

Great upgrade from Nighthawk Wifi 5
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are a tech-heavy house and while we have not fully adopted the “Internet of Things”, I do have around 35 devices connecting to the Internet. What makes it worse, is that both my wife and I work from home in the IT industry with constant Zoom/Teams meetings all day. Our setup provides the primary connection in our living room, which is on the far end of a 4000 square-foot home, with her office on the other end and mine in the basement. So to get the coverage we needed, I have tried the Nighthawk series with a wired backbone to extenders that still was not able to provide the proper speeds and stability that I have seen with this system. My setup provides a wired backbone from the main router to the first satellite and a second wire backbone to the basement office switch. The third satellite has been set up beside my wife’s desk in which she has her work PC hardwired. We have noticed that using this connection we are hitting around 700 mb download speed off of our 1gb network in all locations (I do wonder if this would be faster if the processor within the router was stronger than a 1.4 GHz quad-core). So some drop rate is to be expected, but unlike our previous Nighthawk system, we no longer have DNS issues. The only disadvantage I’ve seen is that during the first week, it seemed a little slow to respond to the devices being connected. Each time a device was to re-connect there was a lag before it would set the internet would connect. But this has gone away and it is performing beyond my expectations.

A must have for strong signal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome router! Mesh is definitely the way to go. I now have strong signal throughout my house, back yard, front yard, and garage. The set up is super easy and you can manage everything from anywhere with an app.

Fast router and a great connection
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previous router had range limitations - picked one of these up and we have full ip6 down the street. Simple to install and the speeds are as quick as hardwired.

Best product for the $$$$$
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.excellent product had to change it out because the more expensive one was half the speed from this one i measured the speed from the old one and compared to this one could not get better than this one so happy I had the guts to change it out

Orbi AX4200
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had dead zones all over my house. Did some research and reviews.Found this model seemed solid from what i was reading. Was totally surprised how good this works for me. I have wifi in places that had none at all and even in those Im getting great DL speeds.i bought 2 satellites. That covers approximately 7,000 ft. Maybe a bit of overkill but myself and 2 relatives live with me and we all work from home. No weird restarts like my old hardware, no dead zones, no problems at all. Its really been good for us. Just follow the instruction carefully and you should be up and running shortly depending on how many you have to set up. I had all 3 up in about a half hour . Would definitely recommend.

Q: Questionif we were installing these in a very large home....and we bought 2 3packs....will they function together...or am I going to have one "left over " router node ?.
Asked by joe.
- A:Answer To answer your question directly, yes you will have a left over router. It's also possible to buy stand-alone satellite units. This might be more cost effective than buying the second bundle. (Although the cost of a single satellite can be pretty high unless you catch them on sale.)

Q: QuestionCan the 2.4 and 5 ghz bands be separated so as to show up separately on mobile devices?
Asked by Vince.
- A:Answer Orbi app will tell you what frequency is connected to your device. You can not change the frequency. The system automatically assign the frequency. If your device support 5ghz this system will connect you device on 5 ghz.

Q: QuestionI currently have the Nighthawk Mesh in my home, now all of a sudden it's blocking my iphone from accessing the WIFI and we can't seem to find a solution. Am I going to have this problem with this product?? I don't want to replace a problem with a problem.
Asked by Question.
- A:Answer We have 33 devices in our Orbi mesh, including 4 iPhones, with no problems at all. Some people complain about problems in their network when using the guest wifi option. For that reason, I keep that option off.

Q: QuestionI currently have netgear nighthawk x4s ac3200 wifi cable modem router (c7800), will this work as my router with the orbi’s?
Asked by Nick.
- A:Answer We had the same setup. You wont need the nighthawk as the Orbi is a router and the two satellites connects to the router thus creating a "mesh" full house coverage.
