• Orbi app will tell you what frequency is connected to your device. You can not change the frequency. The system automatically assign the frequency. If your device support 5ghz this system will connect you device on 5 ghz.

• One way is to setup primary access point with 2.4 active and guest access point with 5 active or vise versa. However system is much better automatically managing bandwidth allocations and priorities especially in complex meshed networks with backhaul between nodes than a fixed manual configuration.
