• A:Answer Orbi app will tell you what frequency is connected to your device. You can not change the frequency. The system automatically assign the frequency. If your device support 5ghz this system will connect you device on 5 ghz.

• A:Answer The Orbi does not connect to cellular networks. You would need something called a 4G/LTE or 5G mobile hotspot to provide internet access via a cellular data plan. Then the Orbi could provide enhanced wifi connectivity to the mobile hotspot. This would more expensive especially if you stream lots of videos. • A:Answer It depends on a ton of factors; the composition of the walls in between the satellites, how many levels and composition of floors, which mesh system you buy, etc. I used a 2 point system and had super fast connection around the house of about that size. I recently upgraded to a 3 point system (router + 2 satellites) to hit some spots that were lagging on video calls but I think it's overkill. With the 2 point system the kids had WiFi at the treehouse and our fire pit so it's definitely a lot.

• A:Answer There's a unit compatibility chart on Netgear site you will want to check out. However, even a 2 point mesh from Orbi provides WiFi out to our tree house and over to our fire pit. The three point system hits my car at the end of our street. So you might not need an outdoor extender once you upgrade.
