DearJuve, your landline has to be connected to your modem, The Orbi do not have a landline connectivity.

No, not directly. This product is only a ROUTER; for an internet connection you will need to pair it with a CABLE MODEM, and it's the modem that provides compatibility with the Xfinity landline. I also have the Xfinity landline feature, and I use an ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem for Xfinity Internet & Voice - Black. This connects to your cable and has a phone jack for your landline and ethernet jacks for connecting to the AX4200.
