• Yes this could replace your modem and router. This is the only thing I have. I have the main ulunit connected to the outlet for my internet and then the other 2 satellites placed throughout my house for consistent coverage.

• If you use a standalone system, you can turn in the fios router. Just plug in the ethernet cable that goes from the FiOS ONT system in your house, into the WAN port of the Orbi controller, and you should be all set!
