No, the Orbi will not increase your ISP speed, you will just get more of it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, speeds are determined by the modem and what Docsis it is. If you are trying for speeds up to 200 mbps then I recommend a Docsis 3.0. Anything faster requires Docsis 3.1. Assuming you run through phone lines for your internet these options are unavailable to you. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.essentially you will get your maximum ammount permittable by your isp through this thing. it is the best wifi router on the market right now.. so you'll have clarity where you are. if you use a router currently, you probably have not as good as one. i recently upgraded from a very old router to the orbi and i am very happy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to know the limitation of your DSL connection before determining if a router will give you better speed vs. the router you are using. This router is stated as gigabit ethernet and WiFi, but if your inbound DSL isn't gigabit then this is overkill. Determine your network speed from your DSL provider and then determine the router to use. I have 1000 mbps inbound and my TP-Link Deco M5 provided the same speed as this so there was no value in this device.
