It works with Google Fiber box. Had unreliable cable internet service. Was sold the Orbi system by Bestbuy to fix this problem. But it didn't. So switched to Google Fiber and had the same question. The Geeksquad guy that setup my Orbi system said he didn't know how to configure the Orbi to the fiber box. The Google installer didn't know how either and said they are not to install non Google equipment. So thinking we were going to have to find another tech guy or attempt to get Netgear on the phone to help us, we decided to just give it a go. Good news that it was very easy and worked right away all on it's own. Plugged it into the fiber box and gave it a few minutes. Then logged into the system as admin. Checked all settings. They system was all set. I can choose to use the mesh system or the fiber box. I'm not a tech person so there might be something I'm missing, but my internet is really fast now which I needed for TV streaming.
