“If I have one already set up in my sons room plugged into his gaming system, is it possible to add another in the same room to use to plug in for a second system? My boys share a room and each have their own PS4 that are on opposite sides of the room.”

• Yes. As long as you aren't exceeding the suggested limit of units in the house, it should work fine.
