“Will this extender work outside. I have a video doorbell and my gate which is about 200 feet from my house and my router is in the house with a weak signal at the gate”

This product does nothing for WiFi signal strength and will only help your situation if the doorbell has an Ethernet port and you can run an Ethernet cable to it. As an alternative, if you have an outlet nearer the doorbell you can look into the Netgear PLW1000 which DOES extend WiFi coverage.

Is it a house wire running to the gate? Is there an RJ45 on the doorbell? If not, you might want a model that repeats the wireless signal at the device end.
