• Almost certainly not. You need an internet/ethernet connection. And unless you've done some serious hardcore do-it-yourself wiring to your phone line you won't have ethernet there.

• Nope. If you have DSL Internet service, a phone line plugs into the MODEM which the service provider supplies. Then you run an Ethernet cable from the MODEM to the router to give you multiple wired and wireless connections.

• The RE7000 plugs into a wall socket for power and extends a Wi-Fi signal from a router.
