Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have "up to 150mbps" speeds and I've tested up to 90mbps on this router on wifi. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy use (multiple users streaming/gaming at the same time) as it doesn't have a 5ghz network or multiple antennas.

Please try again later.You will save money if you get a combo of router and modem however he will not get the same productivity out of your set up as if you buy a top-of-the-line model and his particular router. I am currently getting upwards of 80 to 100 Mb per second however you should know that it's also depending upon the quality of your Internet service. Comcast Verizon etc. will generally charge you more for upwards of 50 megabits per second. I am currently paying for 50 and getting approximately 80 to 100 Mb per second so keep that in mind but make sure that your expectations are consistent with what you're paying for with your cable.
