Is there a monthly payment how does it work ? null

This is simply a router. You need to have an internet source to plug into it. It then converts that source into wifi which allows you to connect several devices via wifi to your one source on internet. This is the purpose of a router.

No monthly payment for the router. It only distributes traffic to and from the modem and between computers within your local network. You must first purchase an internet service from a provider and have the modem (usually provided by your provider). Some of these modems have built-in routers whereby you only need a switch if you require more ethernet ports (most combination modem/routers have 4 or 5 ethernet ports - a "modem only" will have only one port and requires a router).

You purchased, you owned. No aditional expense.

Just buy this cheap router. Monthly payments always costs more and more money. Don't waste your money....

Your monthly charge will be from your cable or telephone company. Modems are specific to your service - cable and telephone use different types. Be sure to read the box carefully to make sure your provider supports it. This modem is for cable.
