Thank you for the question and happy to try and help. Unfortunately we can only speak to the efficacy of our cameras with this recorder. We cannot speak for products by other companies. Some users have had success with reviewing return policies of the retailer and testing installation once they can confirm ability to return if the system doesn't work. Best of luck.
