First the finance offers require the use of the Best Buy credit card, and you may have answered your own question without realizing it. So if you want the 36month promotion that is designated for a TV, then you can simply purchase the TV and then also add the Nikon purchase to the same receipt. Now everything on the same receipt gets the 36 even if for some reason you don't decide to keep the television. The promotion stays for the Nikon if the TV for some reason is not something you wish to keep. But who knows perhaps you fall in love with both items and you end up with excellent financing on two items.
