From my testing, no. I have seen tests that conflict with mine so I can't say for certain, but it is easier and less headache inducing to just have a built in display port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't say for sure whether it would work or not, but I have had so many connection issues just using the intended display port connection that I'd recommend not chancing it. I'd go with the Quest if I could do it again. It's totally wireless which makes the immersion better, and you can jump right in to a game. There's no messing with your PC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I've read it could be a hit or miss proposition. I'd attempt to confirm with Oculus first. You will need to make sure that the (I'm assuming laptop) computer has a dedicated graphics card with enough umph to power the Rift S
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did everything nothing worked. Im going to return it and buy a quest.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, if you dont have a DP port or MIni DP port, more than likey its not compatible, check to see if your system says RIFT S compatible, if it says RIFT compatible this wont work, converters and other plugs wont work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have read that it does not work with adapters. You need a graphic card with display port I believe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Rift S comes with a thunderbolt to display port adapter. I used it on the MSI VR ready laptop. I7, 16gb RAM, GTX 1070, 1TB SSD and it works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Rift S came with a USB and an HDMI connector with a display port adapter. You're golden.
