“On a Christmas wish list I'm working on filling is "Ocukus Rift S Valve Index". My question is - Is this that item? I don't get the Valve Index - don't see that in any description of this product.”

The valve index is another VR headset. Whoever's Christmas list you're working on wants either the Oculus Rift S or the Valve index

Please try again later.The RIFT-S and Valve Index are separate products, both are hardware VR headsets, the Valve Index is made by Valve, the creators of steam, and the Rift is made by occulus, pioneers in VR headsets. Currently the index is out of stock, and it's price point to be a fully functional unit is 999.00, I would research both products before making a decision, the only other recommended product would be HTC Vive
