• I wouldn’t worry about ir dongle. Just get the code from the enclosed instructions and you’re good to do.

• You would have to program it to a code that the IR dongle understands, that said im not sure if the FireTv can support such a connection. I am Also not sure what code that would be as we do not have a FIreTV code. BB One For All Support
