Geek Squad had me upgrade to a Denon, because the Onkyo wouldn’t power cycle with my URC. Dude said something about a macro function. Not sure if I answered your question or not, but apparently this model is whack.

HDMI ports are HDCP 2.2 compliant as stated in the specifications and on the onkyo website.

Page 10 of the user manual calls out:

HDCP 2.2 compatible terminal

That is the only reference I see for that receiver with the 2.2 spec.
