• Geek Squad had me upgrade to a Denon, because the Onkyo wouldn’t power cycle with my URC. Dude said something about a macro function. Not sure if I answered your question or not, but apparently this model is whack.

• HDMI ports are HDCP 2.2 compliant as stated in the specifications and on the onkyo website.

• Page 10 of the user manual calls out: HDCP 2.2 compatible terminal That is the only reference I see for that receiver with the 2.2 spec.
