A:Answerit is rated at 155 watts per channel at MAXIMUM, at a 6ohm load with 10% distortion. the actual normal (RMS) watts are 80 watts per channel at 8 ohms and .08% distortion. Any lower amp can make close to 150 watts if you crank it to the point of horrible distortion.

A:AnswerFirst of all download the operators manual.To your point,you need to get an HDMI cable and hook it to the ARC port on the back of the reciever to the arc port on the back of a TV.It is usualy the HDMI 2 port,so you can see the set up info for your reciever.Make sure the TV is on before you turn on the reciever,after reciever set up you can remove HDMI cable and listen to music if you want.Untill you do the set up the remote will not work.

What I can do is tell you that I did to improve the problem
and believe me it turned out.
Look in Settings where it says IntelliVolume and change it from 0 dB to 6+ dB.
