Hello --- The TXSR494 has the ability to connect the BOSE 301's. It would be recommended to check with BOSE on what setting for the impedance should be selected on the TXSR494 since the BOSE are a range 4 to 8 ohm load. Once you have that information then you can set the receiver to support the impedance of the speakers. You can reference this information on pg 22 and pg 72 within the manual of the TXSR494.
