I have a 2 yr old 65” Sony x900e paired with a Sony x800 4k player. Will I notice a big difference in picture if I opt to upgrade my current player to this Panasonic one? null

Based on my experience, yes! I had the X800 player, and am moving that to a different TV, but got the UB820 and it blows it away in terms of PQ. Of course it matters how discerning you are, but it upscales blu-rays way better, and has better sound as well. So in my mind definitely worth it. The photo is from an upscaled blu-ray of Prisoners.
