This unit will seperate the sound in accordance to how it was mixed on your CD. I can tell the audio difference between older CDs and the newer ones (before they stopped selling them). Dynamic range? Your qustions all pertain to the receiver that processes your audio. This unit sends the audio just as it is from the CD it's playing.
