Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's possible it's your HDMI cable. Make sure you have a good cable and not a real long one. I had the same issue for a bit. I was using a generic cable off of Amazon, about 15 ft long. I moved my player to a shelf under my TV and am using a better cable only 6 foot long and it handles and shows HDR & Dolby Vision always now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's the handshake between your devices to determine how they going to send data to each other. It happen frequently when you start a movie. You can see this when your TV briefly shows display info. For me, i can hear my receiver clicking as it switching to different mode. And if this handshake failed, for whatever reason, certain capability will be turned off. I think these can be improved via firmware updates, so you can only hope that the manufacturer continuously support it. When buying latest toys like this, expect a couple of kinks for them straighten out. And you are already doing the work-around. Stop-start the movie will cause the handshake to happen again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have never had this issue and I do not know how you have your system set up. My setup has the Panasonic going through my Pioneer 4K receiver and it never has a problem. I have a friend that connects the Panasonic directly to the TV. Neither one of us has come across this problem. You might want to check your HDMI cable and ensure that is tight. Good luck!
