Can this work with a 45inch Tv? null

It can, but it’s made specifically for a 55” tv. When using the sync box, the entertainment area is matched up with the strip which is matched up with the size of the tv. So it may be off a little if you are getting it for the sync box. Otherwise it won’t matter and it will fit on a 45” tv. You may have to finagle it as it is the precise size of the sides and top of a 55” tv.

Yes it will work, however it may just be a bit longer than the tv and hang off the sides a little bit.
