Yes. It will work with any Hue lights. You'll need to pair it with the light using your Hue account.

It will control any hue bulb, indoor or outdoor (remote is not outdoor rated). It can also control zigbee lights or switches. Basically any light or switch that the hue bridge can see. I use it for both hue bulbs and a couple of inline zigbee switches to control my LED kitchen lights.

Yes dimmer switch works will all lights (I have indoor and outdoor light strips, Hue bar lights, bulbs & garden tread lights {forgot the name of them sorry}) but need to have them grouped together I would recommend you get iConnecthue app then you can have more options and button us with Hue Dimmer. Another note Dimmer does not work with sync box.
