QuestionAttempted to install this in a 2012 Chevy Traverse w/ RP5-GM31 & GMRVD cables while retaining the factory rear seat entertainment functions. I cannot figure out how the rear occupants can watch movies while the front can listen to music.

- Answer you want to get a meta adapter that lets you plug in to factory car harness dont cut nothing then buy all the cords to like rca to hdmi aux 3.5 and have all that come out in glove box or under dash or center councel so you can access everything easy otherwise you will be pulling the head unit out to do it easy install otherwise

- Answer Yes it will fit 2014 Subaru Forester. Just keep in mind you may need extra parts to be able to use steering wheel controls if you vehicle has that option. That will add to the cost. A Geek Squad installer will be able to help you with the additional parts if you need it for your vehicle. You can call your local store and ask to speak to an Geek Squad installer and they will be able to tell you exactly what you will need to get this Pioneer installed and how much it will cost you. It is a great stereo. I like the fact that it works with iPhone and android phones. My speakers sound better with this unit. I have no regrets.

QuestionI have a 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS. It is the JBL kit. I want to get a new stereo to power a nicer sub. Do I need a newer stereo to fit a nice sub in it? Also would this one fit my car. I took measurements and it did not seem to fit. Let me know. Thanks!

- Answer To find out if the radio fits in your dash go to crutchfield. Com as for the new subwoofer the jbl factory amp will power it if you are just replacing the factory sub but if you are looking to put a sub in the back of the vehicle you will need a separate amp for that

- Answer Yes ,this unit does have RCA outlets for headrests. I have some in my Tundra, had the Geek Squad guy run some Monster RCA plugs from the unit to my headrests units. I had to buy the RCA plugs from them. They have a few choices to select from , but its whatever they have in stock. With that being said, I haven't tried to have the headrests out because I just had my unit installed today. But it is possible to have them connected.

- Answer You have to install a micro bypass which simulates or sends the signal to the radio that you are in park. Thus bypasses the functional safety of the radio. Geek Squad will not do this...you have to do yourself or a 3rd party shop.
