A:AnswerHello Louis, the answer to this question depends on your definition of "Active Sirius XM Radio installed".
If you currently have a factory radio in your 2011 CR-V that has the XM Tuner "Built-In" to it, then you will need to purchase a SXV300V1 Radio Vehicle Tuner. This head unit is SirusXM "Ready" meaning you would need the kit I have mentioned and referenced below in order to have your satellite radio service natively in your Pioneer radio.
If you mean you have a SiriusXM digital tuner with a car mount, "The little rectangle receiver that goes in the base and you can technically take from car to car" then no, you wouldn't need anything other than maybe an "Aux" cable to run from the Audio-Out on the base of the receiver to the input on the back of the Pioneer radio. *Please note that by default, the AUX audio is disabled in the Pioneer radio, You will need to go to the settings menu and then connections/inputs to turn the AUX input on. Then you would choose that as your media source on the screen and run your external receiver unit as normal.
Best of luck with your new radio and I hope this helps you make a proper choice for how to proceed.
A:AnswerYou will need one wiring harness to connect to the controls and your speaker system and another to connect the the steering wheel controls if you have those controls. Or you may be able to get all of that in one package. The radio does not come with the harnesses.
A:AnswerYes, if you buy it at
BestBuy, but you have to buy the wiring harness, install kit, and satellite antenna if you don't already have one. I was quite satisfied by the install
