So I'll answer as though you have a typical Android tablet, such as a Samsung or Lenovo. These tablets typically have the same kind of single audio jack as you would find on a smartphone. This headset includes an adapter for converting the two separate computer-style plugs to a single plug for a cell phone or tablet. I've tried it out with my Android smartphone (and a VoIP app) and it works fine.

I have the same set up as you and ended up buying another set of earbuds with a built in mic for my tablet, as the earbuds offer the noise reduction feature that really works! This headset is excellent for your pc, especially for the inexpensive price! Hope this helps.
