• I just assembled today. Simple but time consuming. It comes with 2 hex keys. Otherwise Phillips head screw driver and adjustable wrench. To speed things up significantly i used a 13 mm socket wrench instead of the adjustable wrench. I wish I had some hex bits to use with my screwdriver or power driver, using the hex keys takes forever. There is one step where you need a screwdriver with a narrow shaft to fit in some narrow holes

• Addendum to previous answer: You would need a 15 mm socket for 8 bolts that attach the base to the machine. (13 mm for 8 bolts attaching the pedals) I originally used the adjustable wrench. When I did my first work out it was super squeaky! Used my socket wrench to tighten the bolts and now it is whisper quiet.

• The only tools needed for assembly were two allen wrenches, which came with the package and also a phillips head screwdriver, which was not supplied in the package.
