QuestionThird try at this one. I am 6’ 1”. My ceiling is 7’ 1”. That’s a 12 inch clearance from standing on the ground. Will I have enough clearance when using the machine? How tall is the machine itself? What is the maximum height off the ground for the user?

- Answer Hi Harry, thanks for your patience. I checked with our lead engineer and he said the step up height is 7 inches off of the floor in the lowest position. If you have the pedals even in height then you are 15 inches off of the floor. I hope that helps.

QuestionIs it more of a stair stepper than an elliptical?

- Answer It’s really a combination of both. It gives you the workout & motion of a stepper with the movement of an elliptical as well. I love mine, my wife not so much because of her height, there’s no adjustment for any of the movement & the up & down is too long of a stride for her.

QuestionWhat tools do you need to assemble this machine?

- Answer I just assembled today. Simple but time consuming. It comes with 2 hex keys. Otherwise Phillips head screw driver and adjustable wrench. To speed things up significantly i used a 13 mm socket wrench instead of the adjustable wrench. I wish I had some hex bits to use with my screwdriver or power driver, using the hex keys takes forever. There is one step where you need a screwdriver with a narrow shaft to fit in some narrow holes

QuestionFor those who complain about the squeaky noises did you assemble the machine yourselves or did you have it professionally assembled? Im trying to figure out if the issue may be it wasn't tightened well enough and wondering if I can do it on my own.

QuestionI’ve always like the elliptical because it did not bother my knees. But, this is described more as a stepper than elliptical. How does it feel on your knees?

- Answer I have arthritis in my knees and have not had an issue with my knees using this. A touch harder than an elliptical on the knees, but better than running/stepping. Note that I've had issues with mine if you can find my comments in the reviews. You can do a manual workout if the resistance bothers the knees.

- Answer Instructions for using workouts on this equipment can be found on page 19 of your user manual. With an internet connection, you will touch your screen or press any button to activate the console. Select the main menu or workout library. Without an iFIT membership login, you will continue on to manual mode and have limited access to select workouts within the library. Simply select a workout from the library that is unlocked. - Answer No. There is an auxiliary "in" jack, but there are no output jacks of any kind. There is also Bluetooth "in" as well.

QuestionAre you able to keep the hand grips fixed so there's no upper body movement?

- Answer There are stationary handles located on either side of the screen if you choose not to use your arms while working out. The exercising arms will continue to move while you use only your legs. Keep in mind that you will have to push/pull with your arms to get the wheel turning initially.
