What kind of battery does it have? null

It’s plugged in not sure if uses battery

It has a built-in rechargeable battery, powered by a micro-USB adapter (USB cable included). I needed to use another adapter plug (like the square block from my iPhone), but it could use any micro-USB adapter to charge it. It's great for possible middle-of-the-night power interruptions or brief power outages, too, to run on battery power, to still keep going (and the child to keep sleeping through the night).

It comes with rechargeable batteries and charger. Just connect, charge it and take it with you anywhere. Has pre-programmed songs/sounds as well lighting patterns . Very cool speaker.
