- Answer Hello! Yes, you can simply have it with the front-facing camera without any problems. Typically, if your vehicle has a backup camera already, the rear camera is mounted inside of your vehicle.

QuestionIs the backup camara water proof? I have a convertible, so I can't mount by the rear window. If not, do you have a similar mirror with backup camera I can mount by rear license plate.

- Answer Our camera is mounted in the spare tire on a Jeep Wrangler. We have had no problems.

- Answer There is no SIM card, but the MicroSD memory card does not need replacing when it's full. Instead, it starts to overwrite the oldest videos in a loop. If you have a 128gb memory card, that's ~10 hours of video before it deletes and overwrites the oldest videos and records over them.

QuestionOn my other vehicles with factory back up cameras, when it's raining or snowing, etc, the backup camera lens becomes distorted because of crap getting on lens. Can you tell how much of a problem it would be with this if i can't use as regular mirror?

- Answer Hi Ratul! The rear camera can and should also be installed as it will record the rear in case there is an accident. You can easily use both systems together.

- Answer Hello, you don't have to use the rear view camera however if you want it to record you can install it on the back windshield window or next to the existing rearview camera.

- Answer Hello! Yes, the rear camera is waterproof. It is a fixed aspect ratio that doesn't allow zooming. The audio from the vehicle does not really intervene with the video. Lastly, the camera does not record 24/7.

QuestionI just install my m2 dash camera. Its perfect during the day but night the lights are like glared out so not good. Any help with glare? Like when oncoming cars are coming it's like the light from the car is glare on my dashcam so back does the back cam.

- Answer Hi Evan! Usually on top of the license plate or around it. Yes the M2 can be hardwired and we suggest it to activate the Parking Monitor function. Check out our new intelligent hardwire kit that has motion sensors that trigger recordings while off and parked. Our hardwire kits uses a low voltage so there is no risk to the battery draining.
