“Am I able to independently adjust the game audio volume and chat volume? Sometimes i would like to play without hearing everyone talk, but be able to turn the audio back on without having to pause and unmute the whole team.”

Unfortunately that is not an option with this set.

The volume dial of the headset will adjust the volume of the headset itself.
