Yea I don’t have Alex but I have a google nest and you can use the ring alarm or camera without having a google nest or Alex, the nest and Alexa just make it so you can tell the system whichever one you us, it just tells it commands. For ring everything is on the ring app so you would want the ring app set up. Hope that answers your question
