Even in 2024, this Ring Alarm kit is still worth it. The newer model, Ring Alarm "Pro" adds in a couple features, most notably an eero router, but if you don't need mesh coverage because you have a smaller home, you mostly get everything else you would want in a lower priced package. Setup is just as easy, and compatible with current gen Ring motion detectors, sensors, and Ring Flood and Freeze sensors.

I’ve had a Ring Door Bell, flood light cameras, Smart Carbon Monoxide And smoke detectors in my home for a while. This product truly brings out the true potential in those smart home components and has simplified the process of Disarming and Arming my home without the need for an app. The system installed easily, it looks clean and timeless makes a pleasant sound when the doors open! I’ve accidentally tripped the alarm a few times and you can really hear it. Works with Alexa devices for added convenience! I’m truly glad I purchased this, absolutely one of my best Smart Home purchases yet! I strongly recommend!

After using the Ring alarm system for 3 months, Ive had time to evaluate the system. I used a 3 point system for evaluation and here is my report. quality is above standard, easy to install and works great Bottom line is it works and works well.

10/10, feels high quality and you can add more pieces if you want. Big fan, would highly recommend buying for a home security system.

I'm pretty please with this product. You've quite a few pieces, but once you figure out how to Navigate the auto, play instructions. It was a really easy to set up.

This alarm has to be the most user friendly alarm out there. It’s easy to setup and works great. We even were able to use the sensors as triggers to turn on things as they open. Great product.

The keypad in the set is defective; instead of the digits running from 0 through 9, there are two 9s and no 8. I thought that it wasn't a big deal, but it turns out that the first 9 key doesn't act like an 8 if you use it in your security code. Of course, I realized this after installing every other piece and gluing the sensors to the doors, windows, and walls. Reached out to Ring customer service twice and they were completely useless (one time they completely ignored my question). They wanted me to reach out to their support team for troubleshooting. How do you troubleshoot a visibly defective piece of equipment? Also reached out to Best Buy and all the only option I had was to return the whole thing. Again, everything is now installed and I would have to remove everything just to have one of the pieces replaced. It's a waste of time and a waste of materials. If this is how Ring responds to such an insignificant issue, it makes me wonder how useful they would be in an emergency.

Love it! Already had Ring outdoor cameras for my home and the Ring app. Was using my cable service for home security but as with all things cable, cost became excessive so decided to look into the Ring system. Fast and easy to install, works great with the App. Can turn on/off my system in the App, and monitor all my devices in one setup. Also, integrated my ring smoke/CO2 detectors. Also, got a great deal through BestBuy...Great buy!

nice, economical, easy to install security system. I meant to order the pro version, tho, so returning and thanks to BB for their reasonable return policy. If the internet service was more reliable at the intended location, this system would be fine, but the pro adds great features, like eero wifi and built in gsm modem, needed for the janky internet at this location,

I love the security system so much. It was way cheaper than Att‘s and I think I would’ve preferred this one anyways. It does exactly what it says it’s going to do follows instructions from what I set up in the app and healthy feel secure and safe at my home. Great product. And what’s nice about this one as well as it’s cheaper than Att first off way cheaper, but also to it monitors as well with like being able to call the police department if need be in a panic button and I’ll kinds of good features check it out!

The system is easy and quick to install. The camera's are high definition. The monitoring service is only $10.00 a month and there is no contract requirement. It has limited battery for power outages to allow you continued monitoring. I love my ring devices and the service.

I recently purchased and installed the ring alarm system. Easy to install, good protection plans, seemless integration with alexa, reliable performance, it is expandable. This wont work with google home or google assistant.
