Question1. With the monitoring plan of $10/mo, does it include all alerts as well as video monitoring which allows me to see any motion activity on the cameras? 2. With the monitoring plan will they call the police if they can not reach me?

QuestionI'm installing the system now and I just want to know what exactly do they mean by the term "faulted" sensor? Is that a bad sensor or just a sensor that was tripped?

- Answer Hello, Thanks for reaching out. That is not too far. An easy way to confirm is to try opening and closing the door. Listen for the chime sound open opening, and have the app open to confirm. - Answer Hi SecurityQueen, Thanks for reaching out. I just want to clarify, are you asking about monitoring your Ring device from multiple Ring accounts? If so, once you've completed setting up your Ring device in your app, you can decide who has access to your system. Certain people need total control over the system while others only need to be able to perform a few simple functions. The owner, for example, needs to be able to configure every aspect of their devices. A neighbor who checks the house cameras while the family is on vacation needs very limited access. Fortunately, there is a system in place to deal with this situation: Users and Roles. A User is anyone who has any level of access to the system at a Location. Each User will be assigned a Role. Their Roles determine how much access he or she has to Ring devices and features. The User who sets up the system will automatically become the Owner. When an Owner invites users to the system, they become Shared Users. QuestionI've seen opposing answers to the question regarding if the ring security siren can be turned off/silenced? One said No and one said it can be turned down using the Ring App. Can the siren be turned down so NO sound comes from the unit and keypad or not?

- Answer Hi RgsBB, Thanks for reaching out. The siren on your Ring Alarm will automatically shut itself off after 10 minutes of alarming. At this time, there is no way to manually turn the siren off, we do, however, look very forward to integrating this feature in the near future. QuestionWill i still need to purchase camaras if I want to monitor my house through my cellphone

- Answer If you want to SEE your house, yes, if you just want to monitor it's security, No. The App works fine without cameras. My office has Ring Alarm and Ring Cameras, but at home, just the alarm. Works great with the Kwikset 914 deadbolt, too, locking and unlocking the door will arm and disarm the alarm for you. I like it.

- Answer Yes. Just enter your code and select armed home or armed away. To disarm, enter your code and select disarmed.

QuestionDoes the system work with existing wired sensors? I have wired sensors throughout the house but need a new control system.

- Answer The Ring system is wireless and works independently of and wired system. Ring cannot control an existing wired system. Ring can be installed without having to remove the existing wired system. We purchased Ring to replace our wired system, and have been very happy. We just left the wires in the walls and called to cancel our previous security system. Ring allows you to control your system, and even with remote supervision (Ring will alert the police or fire department) Ring is much less expensive.

QuestionI have a large dog and would like to know if motion detectors can be positioned in a way not to detect the dog and cause a false alarm.

- Answer You can aim them with ease, but they have a pretty wide area.. Tgey have a setting for small dogs, under 50lbs, my 75 lb golden tripped it easily. I have window, door sensors and motion. When the dog is home, I set the alarm to Home and it turns everything on except motion. When the dog and we are away, I fully arm the system and get motion as well. This scenario is working for me. Hope that helps.

Questionwill each contact sensor and motion sensor display the room temperature and will the app alert you if the temperature goes below a certain setting.
