We recommend charging your Ring battery-powered doorbell using the USB cable included in your device's packaging prior to setting up or installing the device. Connect the cable to any USB power source to begin charging. The battery can take up to 10 hours to fully charge. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unsure how long it takes to charge as mine was wired to existing power source. Overall, it took me about 20 mins to set up, another 5 minutes to connect to router. Updates rather quickly which is mostly dependant upon wifi speeds.
