A:AnswerYes, if your Chime Pro is being used as a doorbell chime or as a doorbell extender, then it will chime in the house when the doorbell button is pushed.
A:AnswerHi Bilbo.
Great question! No, the Ring Chime Pro will not alert you of a window or door opening. When a contact sensor is triggered, the LED ring on the sensor will flash, and you will hear a small chirp tone from the base station. Chirp tones are enabled by default and can be adjusted in the Ring app. Visit our support center for more information: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043818431-Tips-for-installing-your-Contact-Sensor-2nd-gen-.

A:AnswerHi CarolHomeowner.
Thank you for asking! Yes, a Ring Chime Pro can help extend wifi coverage through your house, specifically to a Ring device. Generally, a single Chime Pro can effectively improve connectivity to your Ring devices in a two-to-three-bedroom home or if your devices are located close together. A:AnswerIf so not the best backup option - we have an outdoor wireless camera for the back years about 40’ away from router and modern and will drop signal once in awhile. So we are going to try the WiFi booster. We have a total of 5 cameras and the furthest two seem to strain our WiFi…
A:AnswerI was having a problem with a weak signal to my wireless video doorbell, so I bought the Ring Chime Pro. I allowed me to create a network with extended range and improved connectivity. I don’t know if it will do anything for other Ring cameras or devices.
