I was having a problem with a weak signal to my wireless video doorbell, so I bought the Ring Chime Pro. I allowed me to create a network with extended range and improved connectivity. I don’t know if it will do anything for other Ring cameras or devices.

By installing one, you'll be able to better reach your Ring Video Doorbells and Cameras. How far the Chime Pro Network reaches is based on various factors. To use the wifi portion of the Chime Pro, you’ll need to connect to the Chime Pro Network. Please follow the steps below to learn how: * Launch the Ring app. * Select the main menu in the upper left-hand corner. * Tap the word ‘Devices’ and then select your Ring Doorbell or Camera. * Tap the *Chime Pro Network* button. From here you’ll be able to select your Ring doorbell or camera to pair. Simply follow the on-screen instructions.
