A:AnswerYes it will. Our neighbor has several cats that roams free and I get a chime whenever the cats come in my driveway or yard. You can turn the sensitivity level down so it won’t notify you of every little thing, such as the wind blowing the tree leaves. I hope this helps to answer your question.
A:AnswerHi Jerry,
When motion is detected, you'll receive a motion alert (notification) on your cellular device. You'll be able to open the notification and launch Live View where you can speak to the visitor. If you are subscribed to Ring Protect Plan, you'll be able to store your videos. I hope this helps!

A:AnswerYou can adjust the light range. It goes from min to max. It does not say the actual distance. Also you can create motion zones where the camera will activate and in the motion zones you adjust the sensitivity to minimum. This will activate only under a person movement. The siren is under your control.
A:AnswerThe system does not have a backup battery. After a one hour power shortage on my street I’m thing of getting a solar powered spot camera to add to my security
A:AnswerHello!

A:AnswerHi Chauhan,
Based on the details you provided, we'd suggest installing a Ring Chime Pro. The Ring Chime Pro extends your Wi-Fi and increases the signal strength and coverage area of your network. With proper setup, your Ring Chime Pro should improve the signal received by your Ring device and overall device performance.

A:AnswerHey Bud,
The lamps are included, they are already installed to the housing. All you need to do when you get home is figure out how to get a line to where your installing it. It's pretty easy, I was able to install it on my own having no experience in electrical.
I did have to buy an electrcial box to mount it.

A:AnswerHi Mike,
The floodlights on the Floodlight Cam are operated by passive infrared heat detection. The Ring Floodlights use passive infrared detectors (PIR) to detect motion in three 90 degree arcs around the device. Please email me if you'd like to discuss this further: Bilan.jenkins@ring.com
