A:AnswerHi cjay1218,
Ring products will work in freezing temperatures and are resistant to rain. In general, Ring doorbells and Cam products with batteries are rated for operating temperatures between -5 to 120 degrees F. (-20 to 50 degrees C.). Cam products without batteries are rated at -22 to 120 degrees F (-30 to 48.5 degrees C). I hope this helps.

A:AnswerHi John,
We don’t recommend installing a Floodlight Cam under a soffit. Doing so can affect motion and light triggering as well as view.

A:AnswerNo, you need Wifi. To confirm, when you say "WiFi isn't available in your area" do you really mean you don't have a high speed Internet provider? WiFi is something you would setup within your home or office. You buy a WiFi router and attach it to your Internet router.
If you wanted to go with a no WiFi solution, you can use PoE (Power over Ethernet) but that still requires a connection to an Internet provider. Ring only makes one camera that uses PoE which is this one: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ring-stick-up-indoor-outdoor-wired-security-camera-white/6292277.p?skuId=6292277
Note, you'll need an run CAT5/6 to it and have a PoE adapter (if you don't already have PoE):

But your best bet is to just buy a WiFi router instead to save that extra effort.
A:AnswerHello,
We don’t recommend installing a FLC under a soffit as it may affect the functionality of the Floodlight Cam. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

A:AnswerThe installation for ours was very easy for the Geek Squad technician. He replaced our current hard wired porch lights with these. Doorbell will work the same way. Use of the app on the phone is very easy as well. One floodlight camera installed where current wiring exists will take roughly 5-10 mins for the tech.
A:AnswerYou can view the doorbell and floodlight cams from any smartphone or computer. So if your TV has the capability to connect to the www.ring.com website, you can view it/them on your TV.
A:AnswerI’m not sure I understand your question. You have 30 days free to store videos and once you subscribe to Ring protect they are available for up to 90 days. If you want to save videos you can just download them to your phone or device.
A:AnswerFred, its my understanding that this floodlight can run off of either power source. Mine is currently running off of the same 120v circuit that my garage door opener is powered by. It is hard wired and the installation was fairly easy, if you have worked with electric in the past. Hopefully this helps.
A:AnswerWe have had it up for just under a month in Houston. We had pretty steady rains during some of that time, including this past weekend, when it rained constantly. The cameras and flood lights are fine.
A:AnswerI didn't require an electrician as I installed it myself. It's very simple to do once you cut the power to the fixture you're replacing. As long as you already have a fixture there hardwired in, you can do this yourself!
