A:AnswerRing devices are connected via a LOCAL router WIFI and do not work via HOTSPOTS.
The internet is how the alerts are sent to your device and the recordings are sent to the RING cloud service so you can access them.
Always nice to have views in remote locations...

A:AnswerYes, as long as the area you want covered isn't blocked by the eve. Shouldn't be a problem though, since the camera portion is toward the bottom of the unit and it is adjustable, so you can aim it up or down or toward either side if you need to.
A:AnswerWe had an independent handy man replace the old security camera and installed this flood light camera. It is working fine. In fact he even moved the old one and installed in another location of our house.

A:AnswerHi RunHard,
Great question! Our Floodlight Cam puts out 1800 lumens of light each, which means the light appearance is a soft white glow and are ideal for capturing crisp HD Video at night.
If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to ask!

A:AnswerThe Floodlight Cam includes two 3000° Kelvin floodlights. Floodlight Cam gives you the option to manually control the lights with the free Ring app. While the lights will automatically turn on as soon as Floodlight Cam detects motion, you can also use the app to manually turn the lights on, turn them off or flash brightly to indicate an emergency. As long as Floodlight Cam is connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can control the lights from anywhere. If you have additional concerns, please email me at [email protected].

A:AnswerI have no idea, I set this up myself. I have minimal electrical and wiring skills, and I found the install to be minimally challenging. Goes right into place where the old light was installed.
