A:AnswerHello JD,
Great question! No, this device does not have an internal battery backup if it loses power. Here is a list of other Ring models, some that are completely battery operated, that would work for you in this situation: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004687606-Ring-Security-Camera-Product-Comparison.

A:AnswerHello,
Almost all Ring products use wifi (wireless networking) to connect to the internet. If you are able to obtain the wifi network information from the nursing home this device would work for you! Here is more information about how to make wifi work for you: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020044511-How-to-Make-Wifi-Work-For-You.

A:AnswerHello LivePicture,
Great question! No, the Ring Indoor Camera will not provide continuous live video without doing anything. The Ring Indoor Camera offers Live View, which lets you stream real-time video from your Ring doorbells and security cameras on the Ring app or on Ring.com. You must manually activate Live View, and it will automatically turn off after 10 minutes, or sooner if you manually end it. This article will provide more information: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/208144516-Using-Live-View.
Not everything important that happens in front of your cam or video doorbell will trigger a notification. With an active Ring Protect Plan, you can activate Snapshot Capture, an app feature that takes snapshots at certain intervals, for when you are not actively watching Live View. This allows you to review what’s happened in front of your devices in between events. Visit our support center for more information: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034355652-Timeline-Security-Snapshots-Using-Snapshot-Capture.

A:AnswerYes, we do. Set uo zones on camera, and elertd on your phone. If you had a ring doirbell, it would actually show them leaving and alert you, as well.
A:AnswerIt doesn't use a battery. You have to plug it into an outlet. It uses wifi to connect to your router. Download the Ring app & you use your phone. It also can show on Echo Show or computer
