A:AnswerHello Mike,
The battery is fully charged when the light on the battery shines a solid green, which can take 6-8 hours. Connect the orange micro-USB charger(included in the box) to the charging port in the battery. During charging both the red and green lights will light up.

A:AnswerHello JJTree,
Great question! Yes, you could point the camera at the thermostat and be able to see the temperature reading through the Live View feature. Just to clarify, the camera does not have a temperature reading of the room that it is installed in. Here is a helpful article regarding more specifications of this device: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015669092-Stick-Up-Cam-Battery-2nd-Generation-Information.

A:AnswerThe battery life depends on the settings that you have it on. If you set the camera to where it records frequently and has a longer record time, then your battery will die faster. If you set it to the recommended settings as put forth by ring, then your battery should last about 2 months. The battery comes with it and is rechargeable.
A:AnswerHello Dtaylor,
Yes, the Ring Stick Up Cam does work with Alexa. Connecting Ring Devices with Alexa is a simple process. To accomplish this, you’ll need to add Ring as a skill in your Alexa app. Once this is accomplished, you’ll be able to use a variety of Alexa-enabled devices with your Ring devices.

A:AnswerI sure do. As long as you have 50Mbps internet service, I think you should be ok. I always say that if you have a lot of smart device, 100Mbps internet speed is recommended.

A:AnswerYou don't need an Amazon account but it is compatible with Alexa if you have/had one. I set up my camera on the ring app with no problems. My Alexa detected the camera but I chose not to set it up with Alexa
