A:AnswerHi Starr,
Good question! Yes, you can mount the Stick Up Camera Battery to get the view you want from the device. Getting the most out of your Stick Up Camera means placing it so that it captures as much as it possibly can. That's why a quick rule-of-thumb for the Stick Up Camera is that, whether you're mounting your camera indoors or outdoors, higher is usually better. Your Stick Up Camera will work fine at about eye-level, but raising it up to about nine feet (outdoors) or seven to eight feet (indoors) will work even better. You'll still be able to see faces, but your camera will be able to get a wider field of view and see more. A:AnswerYes there is a subscription Fee if you have one device it's $30 a year and if you have more than one ring device it is $100 a year for more than one item. Basically you paid for the equipment but in order to use it you will be required to pay this to view cam after your trial ends.
A:AnswerYou do not have to pay for the ring contract . The camera will still alert you when there is movement and you’ll be able to access the camera at any time.
You just won’t be able to get a saved video of with the camera catches
