I don't know the range but I don't think it's great I have a router with an extender and I placed the camera on the outside of my garage side door and the router is in my living room which is a room off the garage and it says low signal many times. A:AnswerThe battery is rechargeable and comes with the cord. A fully charged battery on indoor camera is good for about 2 week. The outdoor camera is good for 2 years
