A:AnswerHello maria,
Good question! Your Ring will integrate with Google Home via Google Assistant but currently, there is not a way to stream video from your Ring using Chromecast. We are always working to improve and expand our smart home integrations and will pass your interest in this feature along to our development and engineering teams for review.
In the meantime, you can learn more about the current Ring integration capabilities with Google Assistant here: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000e4ac17fd8b?hl=en-US.

A:AnswerHi Jhowade,
Yes, our Linked Devices feature allows you to connect your Ring devices together, and provides instructions for that group of devices to begin functioning whenever any of them are activated. Say, for example, that a motion triggers one of your Ring Cameras that you placed outside. It notifies you and begins recording* as usual. That's when Linked Devices takes over. Because you've linked your outdoor camera to your other cameras, they immediately begin recording. In this way, your Ring devices are able to react and protect you as a team.
It is important to note that videos will only be recorded and stored if you have an active Ring Protect Plan. To learn more about Linked Device, please check out the link below. https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033904271-Linking-your-Ring-devices-together-for-enhanced-security-

A:AnswerI would rather use a Solar Panel.
I have 3 Ring Devices connected with attached Solar Panels. The battery always shows 100%.
With Solar Panels you are protected agains power loss.
I have my router attached to a Batter Back-Up Power.
A:AnswerHi Starr,
Good question! Yes, you can mount the Stick Up Camera Battery to get the view you want from the device. Getting the most out of your Stick Up Camera means placing it so that it captures as much as it possibly can. That's why a quick rule-of-thumb for the Stick Up Camera is that, whether you're mounting your camera indoors or outdoors, higher is usually better. Your Stick Up Camera will work fine at about eye-level, but raising it up to about nine feet (outdoors) or seven to eight feet (indoors) will work even better. You'll still be able to see faces, but your camera will be able to get a wider field of view and see more.
